We are an employee‑owned Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability consulting firm with offices throughout California. Following a recent acquisition, our geographic reach and technical capabilities have expanded significantly, allowing us to serve a diverse portfolio of high‑profile institutional clients, including some of the largest companies in the world. Our services include environmental engineering and remediation, vapor intrusion mitigation, compliance and emissions management, industrial hygiene, safety training, and litigation support.

We are seeking a full‑time

Project Scientist or Geologist

to support and manage high‑profile environmental projects from initial investigation through site closure. This includes subsurface soil, soil gas, groundwater, and vapor intrusion assessments, as well as remediation planning and execution.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, thrives in a fast‑paced consulting environment, and is passionate about mentoring a diverse team. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in business development are essential.

Responsibility Highlights

Lead and oversee environmental investigations from baseline characterization to final site closure; coordinate multiple technical disciplines and client interactions.

Develop remediation plans and provide on‑site monitoring and oversight; maintain project schedules and budgets.

Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Required Qualifications

BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or related discipline

Minimum 7 years of environmental consulting experience

California Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred or ability to obtain

40‑Hour HAZWOPER Certification

Experience with DTSC, RWQCB, and Bay Area regulatory programs

Demonstrated success in project management and staff mentorship

Exposure to business development activities

Desired Skills

Expertise in environmental characterization, vapor intrusion, remedial action plans, and remediation oversight

Familiarity with construction management and blueprint interpretation

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Experience CADD, Rockworks, gINT, Revit, or similar software

Strong organizational and time‑management skills

Self‑starter with responsive communication style

Willingness to travel within California (limited)
