We are the creators of the end‑to‑end AI platform that powers the world’s most ambitious machine‑learning teams. With the recent acquisition by CoreWeave, our horizons have expanded to provide unmatched compute performance and developer experience for model training, data ingestion, and deployment at scale. We’re looking for a visionary leader to shape the future of AI infrastructure and build the next generation of platform services.
About the Role As Director of Engineering on the Platform team, you will lead four cross‑functional engineering squads, driving strategy and execution for the core services that power model training and monitoring across our ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Lead the Metrics team to deliver high‑performance APIs for ingesting and querying training artifacts, logs, and performance data.
Oversee the Identity team, ensuring robust authentication, authorization, and audit capabilities that support enterprise‑grade ML workflows.
Guide the SDK team in building scalable, portable client libraries that developers integrate into training pipelines.
Direct the Billing Engineering team to maintain accurate usage metering, entitlement enforcement, and seamless payment system integration.
Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and customer‑facing teams to maintain reliability, scalability, and security across all platform layers.
Champion architectural direction and developer experience, ensuring that core services evolve in sync with our growing user base.
Who You Are
10+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading senior engineering teams.

Deep expertise in designing scalable APIs, SDKs, or core services that operate in production at scale.
Strong knowledge of model‑training workflows and how platform services enable rapid ML velocity.
Hands‑on familiarity with authentication protocols (OIDC, OAuth2) and enterprise identity architecture.
Experience designing metering, entitlement, and billing systems.
Track record of hiring, mentoring, and growing diverse engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior work at an ML platform or developer‑tools company.
Experience integrating common ML frameworks, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, into platform pipelines.
