Overview A fast-growing AI company in the financial technology sector is hiring multiple
Product Software Engineers
(3–8 years of experience). This team builds AI-powered systems used by major financial institutions to automate complex compliance and risk workflows.
This is a high-impact role for engineers who love solving ambiguous customer problems, shipping end-to-end features, and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll contribute to zero-to-one product development and help evolve the core platform that processes millions of mission-critical decisions.
What You’ll Work On
Build
intuitive user interfaces
for case management, reporting, and analytics.
Develop
document analysis, OCR, and verification tooling .
Build
agentic AI workflows
that coordinate between models, data services, and customer actions.
Create systems that allow customers to
configure and customize their compliance workflows .
Own major product areas from
initial design → development → production launch .
Work directly with customers to understand requirements and improve product usability.
Ideal Candidate Background Experience
3–8 years as a
Product Engineer
or
Full-Stack Engineer .
Built
zero-to-one features
or scaled large product systems.
Experience in
high-growth startups
or strong engineering teams at larger companies.
Experience working in
regulated industries
(fintech, compliance, identity, risk, fraud, security) is a plus.
Technical Skills
Proficient in
Python
or
TypeScript/Node.js .
Solid experience with
API development , backend services, and databases.
Familiarity with
workflow engines , orchestration frameworks, or distributed systems.
Strong product engineering instincts — able to translate ambiguous problems into structured solutions.
Soft Skills
Strong product intuition and ability to think from the customer’s perspective.
Comfortable owning large feature sets independently.
Thrives in fast-paced environments with high autonomy.
Not dependent on heavy management or handholding.
Hybrid role (3 days per week onsite in San Francisco).
