Behavioral Health Unit

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment planning Provide medication management and ongoing behavioral health care Support
crisis intervention , stabilization, and acute psychiatric admissions Perform daily rounding, documentation, and collaborative care with nursing + social work teams Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning Ensure compliance with state and facility standards of care Requirements
MD or DO with
Psychiatry Board Certification
(BE accepted) Active
North Carolina medical license
(or ability to obtain) DEA license required 1–2+ years experience in
inpatient adult psychiatry Experience with crisis stabilization and acute psychiatric care Locum tenens / travel experience preferred, but not required
