Alternate Experience:

Most contracts allow 4‑5 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree. Some contracts give 4‑5 years experience credit for a Bachelor’s Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master’s Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.

Position Responsibilities

Design and define high‑performance software architectures

Develop strategies for optimizing application performance on HPC systems

Lead the integration of software with HPC infrastructure

Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements

Ensure scalability and compatibility of HPC applications

Oversee the development and deployment of HPC software solutions

Required Skills

Expertise in parallel programming models (e.g., MPI, OpenMP)

Strong knowledge of HPC system architectures and workflows

Experience with distributed systems and data‑intensive computing

Proficiency in performance profiling and system‑level optimization

Familiarity with HPC development tools and libraries (e.g., CUDA, TensorFlow)

Ability to design fault‑tolerant and scalable solutions

Desired Skills

Familiarity with cloud‑based HPC platforms and hybrid solutions

Understanding of emerging HPC technologies (e.g., quantum computing)

Experience with high‑speed interconnects and storage systems

Knowledge of containerization in HPC environments (e.g., Docker, Singularity)

Strong communication and technical documentation skills

Ability to mentor teams and drive HPC best practices
