Accounting Manager (Korean/English Speaking)
Xealth is seeking a bilingual (Korean/English) accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, hands‑on environment where no two days are the same. This role is perfect for someone who has cut their teeth in smaller organizations where you wear multiple hats and has the IFRS technical expertise to back it up.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS
Perform technical accounting research and document conclusions for complex transactions
Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
Document accounting policies and ensure IFRS compliance
Support external audit and liaise with auditors
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Process vendor invoices and expense reports
Manage AP aging and payment runs
Process customer invoices
Perform deferred revenue and unbilled analysis and record revenue recognition per IFRS
Perform account reconciliations
Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
Process payroll journal entries
Support tax compliance and reporting requirements
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
Serve as Korean language liaison with parent company
Translate and communicate financial information between Korean and English‑speaking team members
Coordinate with Korean parent company on reporting requirements and deadlines
Facilitate meetings and calls with Korean counterparts
Required Qualifications
Technical & Professional
5‑8 years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong IFRS knowledge with practical application experience
Small‑company background (startups, SMBs, or small subsidiaries) where you handled diverse responsibilities
Experience with full accounting cycle from AP to financial statements
Language & Communication
Fluent in Korean and English (speaking, reading, writing)
Comfortable communicating complex accounting matters in both languages
Experience working in cross‑cultural business environments
Technical Systems
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas)

Compensation & Benefits Compensation would include a base salary, bonus, and a comprehensive suite of benefits. The compensation range for this position is \$100,000‑\$175,000 + bonus.
