Executive Recruiter | Accounting & Finance Specialist | Former Senior Accountant | Bridging Talent & Financial Strategy (FP&A, Audit, GL, Tax, etc.)
Join a nationally recognized organization with a strong reputation for excellence and innovation. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll oversee core accounting operations, lead a small team, and ensure accurate financial reporting while driving process improvements.
What You’ll Do
Manage day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; perform variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor 1–2 direct reports; review work for accuracy and provide guidance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial goals and support decision-making.
Assist with audits and provide documentation to external auditors.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong technical skills: advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (Emburse, Concur).
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
