Sibley Memorial Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, provides comprehensive inpatient and emergency services. The Clinical Technician (PCT) on our 25‑bed Med Surg unit works as a Certified Nursing Assistant with advanced training in specific clinical skills and competences.
Responsibilities
Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
Provides personal care for patients including hygiene and physical comfort measures.
Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy.
Inserts IVs.
Measures and records intake and output.
Inserts and removes Foley catheters.

Minimum Education And Experience
High school graduate or GED.
Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR required.
2 years' experience required.

Salary Range:
Minimum $21.44/hour – Maximum $33.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
