Position Details

Limited, Night Shift, 7pm-7:30am

Valid CNA license in Washington, DC required

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a distinguished history of serving the community since its founding in 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24‑hour Emergency Department. The Clinical Technician II (PCT) works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills and competencies on the health care team.

Responsibilities

Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes the condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.

Provides personal care for patients including hygiene and physical comfort measures.

Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy.

Inserts intravenous lines (IVs).

Measures and records intake and output.

Inserts and removes Foley catheters.

Minimum Education and Experience

High school graduate or GED

Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia

American Heart Association BLS/CPR required

2 years experience required

Salary Range:

Minimum $21.44/hour – Maximum $33.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
