Job Details What you will be doing
Evaluates patients: conduct comprehensive physical examinations and take medical histories to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions such as injuries, arthritis, and fractures.
Assists in surgery: act as first assistant during orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, tendon repairs, and fracture fixation.
Provides post‑operative care: manage patient recovery following surgery, including wound care, pain management, and physical therapy coordination.
Performs minor procedures: under supervision, perform casting, splinting, joint injections, and wound closures.
Skills you need
Education as a physician assistant
Orthopedic experience as a PA highly preferred
