Tax Manager
Soni’s Client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to support firm growth and lead a high‑performing tax team.
Location Cherry Hill, NJ (Hybrid/Remote)
Base Pay Range $150,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr
Compensation $150,000 to $160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff across multiple engagements.
Review individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and estate tax returns.
Manage full engagement lifecycle from planning through delivery.
Provide clear, constructive feedback to support staff development.
Communicate directly with clients; build and maintain strong relationships.
Coordinate workflow across multiple simultaneous projects.
Support business development through networking and community involvement.
Stay updated on tax laws and accounting standards.
Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Active CPA license required.
6–8+ years of progressive public accounting experience (tax focus).
Proven experience reviewing a wide range of tax return types.
Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
Experience managing engagements independently.
Proficiency with CCH Access and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
