Full-Time A growing tax practice is seeking a

Tax Manager

to join its

Trust and Estate

team, providing estate planning and tax compliance services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and fiduciaries. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engagements, advise clients on tax strategies, and manage a team of professionals. Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities

Provide high-level fiduciary, personal income, gift, and estate tax compliance and planning services. Review individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns, as well as estate and trust fiduciary accountings. Handle federal and state tax notices and audits. Research tax laws and prepare technical memoranda and planning strategies. Analyze estate planning legal documents and advise on tax implications. Manage client relationships and oversee all aspects of client accounts. Lead and mentor team members, manage workloads, and support professional development. Participate in business development through networking, public speaking, and authoring articles. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MST, JD, or LL.M. preferred. CPA, EA, or equivalent certification required. Minimum 7 years of experience in trust, estate, and gift tax matters. Strong background in public accounting and estate/inheritance tax compliance (Forms 1041, 709, 5227, ESBT, QSST). Excellent communication, analytical, and client service skills. Experience with tax research tools and software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Axcess Tax, GEMS, Checkpoint, BNA). Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet client deadlines. Benefits
