Adecco is seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Electronics Lab Technician to join a team focused on the reliability and manufacturing testing of cutting‑edge automotive electrical hardware. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of advanced electrical systems, including Level 3+ ADAS, telematics, infotainment, battery management, and zonal ECUs. The ideal candidate will have strong electronics testing experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
Pay Rate: $30.00 Hr
Shift: Mon‑Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Onsite in Palo Alto, CA
Responsibilities
Operate software user interfaces to exercise custom automated test equipment during hardware bring‑up and testing.
Validate systems functionality using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, and digital multimeters (DMMs).
Own the calibration and mechanical setup of thermal and vibration chambers.
Troubleshoot, root cause, and document DUT, test equipment, and harness failures.
Perform circuit board electronic modifications, including component rework, soldering/de‑soldering of electronic components, etc.
Support the commissioning and deployment of new test systems.
Work with engineering leads to conduct reliability and manufacturing testing, review, and report test data.
Build first articles and redline schematics as needed.
Proactively identify and fill in gaps where needed (Hands‑on approach).
Qualifications
Technical degree or relevant experience in electronics testing.
5+ years of experience building automated test equipment (ATE) or industrial automation systems.
Able to read electrical schematics, drawings, and manufacturer’s product data sheets.
Experience with soldering and circuit board re‑work.
Experience with electrical testing using laboratory tools (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, etc.).
Experience using power tools.
Ability to use Microsoft and Google productivity applications (spreadsheets, word processing, presentation).
Able to move/lift test boxes and instrumentation.
