Corporate Attorney – Business Transactions Team
Join a dynamic Michigan-based practice tackling strategic M&A and corporate deals for middle‑market and emerging companies.
Base Pay Range $170,000 – $230,000 per year
Responsibilities
Serve as first‑ or second‑chair on mergers & acquisitions, private offerings, and capital restructuring transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, corporate documents, and other transaction documentation.
Manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain proactive client service instincts.
Engage proactively with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality work.
Qualifications
5–12 years of law‑firm experience in corporate transactional work (preferred).
Strong experience in general corporate work plus M&A (required).
Admission to the Michigan bar required (or willingness to become admitted).
Solid transaction drafting and negotiating capability; track record of significant deal work.
Strong academics and a collaborative team orientation.
