The division provides comprehensive resources to help plan sponsors and participants manage complex financial challenges.
Position Summary
The NQDC Plan Consultant and COLI VP will work with new and existing clients to identify opportunities to implement informal funding strategies supporting their NQDC plans. The VP will consult with clients to determine appropriate informal funding strategies, focus on driving new COLI business, and deliver analysis and recommendations to prospective and existing clients. The VP will also partner with financial advisors and stock plan teams to uncover new informal funding opportunities within our institutional book.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Consult with new and existing clients to facilitate their decision‑making process on NQDC plan informal funding strategies.
Drive growth in the informal funding business with a focus on COLI sales.
Serve as an internal subject matter expert for client‑facing teams working with corporate clients who have COLI or may be candidates for informal funding.
Required Experience, Skills, And Qualifications
5‑7 years of relevant financial services industry or related experience focused on Nonqualified Deferred Compensation plans and COLI.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Consultative approach to working with institutional clients.
Strong COLI product knowledge.
Proven ability to communicate the economic, tax, and financial benefits of informal funding vehicles.
Strong track record of networking and relationship building with internal partners and stakeholders, including Financial Advisors.
Strong project management skills.
Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects across functional groups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proactive nature, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Positive contributor to our team’s inclusive culture.
Insurance and Annuities licensing as well as FINRA licensing are required for this role.

Compensation
Expected base pay ranges between
$110,000
and
$185,000
per year. Base pay is individualized and forms part of a total compensation package that may include commission, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and additional benefits.
