Partner Development Manager – Communities

About the Team The Alliances & Channels team builds and manages a global community of partners that help ambitious businesses with industry‑leading payments and financial infrastructure solutions. These partnerships unlock market opportunities and accelerate user growth across all segments.
What you’ll do As a Partner Development Manager (PDM) in the Americas Alliances & Channels team, you will develop Stripe’s Consulting/Services and Technology partnerships, cultivating both existing and new relationships. This revenue‑generating role blends partnership management, cross‑functional program execution, partner marketing, enablement, and co‑selling initiatives to drive partner participation and engagement.
Responsibilities
Deeply understand the partner ecosystem in the region.
Identify, recruit and manage a scaled portfolio of partners, advocating for them and spotting growth opportunities.
Develop and execute Stripe’s partner strategy in alignment with regional and global plans.
Ensure partners are technically proficient and certified on Stripe, collaborating with the partner solution architecture organization.
Build scalable solutions and packages that drive pipeline growth and successful activation of users on Stripe.
Optimize partner performance through business reviews, identify additional revenue opportunities, and deploy a joint sales approach with Stripe’s top partners and sales team.
Work with program, marketing and sales teams to execute partner programs, events, sales plays and build playbooks and collateral.
Report regularly to key stakeholders with strong analytical insights and clear communication.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years of managing partnerships and/or sales for high‑tech or financial services organizations.
Successful track record of developing and growing partnerships.
Professional and technical knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to negotiate high‑value deals with C‑level audiences and influence outcomes.
Sound business judgment, analytical skills, ownership, and data‑driven analysis.
Highly organized, multitasking, ownership, and efficiency in ambiguous situations.
Willingness to travel.
Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the financial services/payment industry.
Hybrid work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles/56+ km from a Stripe office). Office‑assigned staff are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the local office each month. Remote workers typically work from home, though occasional office visits for meetings or events are encouraged.
Pay and benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $139,100–$208,500. For sales roles the range includes on‑target earnings (OTE). Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k) plan, medical/dental/vision benefits, and wellness stipends.
