Senior Recruitment Consultant - Hiring Researchers/Scientists In The U.S
Overview
Engineering-led team building high-performance systems for large-scale video understanding. You’ll develop algorithms and pipelines that label, sort, and query massive video datasets, working across vision, audio, and multimodal signals. The environment is low-ego, fast-moving, and suited to engineers who enjoy ambiguity, experimentation, and end-to-end ownership.
Responsibilities
Build and optimize algorithms for video data processing and retrieval.
Develop high-performance pipelines using parallelism, pre/post-processing, and inference optimization.
Improve compute efficiency and model performance across large datasets.
Work on domain-specific models (robotics, gaming, human activity) when needed.
Investigate failure modes in data networks and propose novel solutions.
Translate customer-level problems into technical components and experiments.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in computer vision or related perception fields.
Strong Python and ML engineering skills (PyTorch or similar).
Experience writing clean, maintainable, production-grade code.
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical work clearly.
High intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in video and large-scale data systems.
Nice to Have
Startup experience or time in small, fast-moving teams.
Publications, open-source contributions, or entrepreneurial background.
Experience with synthetic data (not required).
Exposure to multimodal or large-scale data pipeline work.
