Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Location South East Chicago – 3‑4 days in office
Key Responsibilities
Develop and upgrade protection and control schemes, including the creation of one‑line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and detailed wiring diagrams.
Execute critical relay upgrade projects to modernize and enhance power system reliability.
Perform comprehensive quality control and assurance reviews on all engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and fostering strong professional relationships.
Manage project workflows and contribute to broader multi‑disciplinary engineering initiatives, ensuring all technical objectives are met.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2‑5 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems or substation design.
