Treasury Analyst (Cash Management) – Golub Capital
The Treasury Department is responsible for the Firm’s overall cash management, allocation of investment opportunities, and maintenance of third‑party debt facilities. Primary functions include short and long‑term cash forecasting, FX management, pre‑trade compliance, asset allocations, cash positioning, liquidity optimization, and debt compliance. The department collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure financing goals are met.

Position Responsibilities The Treasury Analyst is a critical component in the origination and preservation of the various debt facilities at Golub Capital, as well as the investment closing process. The Analyst ensures that funds are available in the appropriate entities before asset funding, meeting lender deadlines and maintaining compliance with debt and investment agreements across managed accounts and credit facilities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Perform the Treasury funding process by obtaining debt proceeds from credit facilities and/or equity funds from Golub parent entities to settle assets across a subset of managed accounts.
Coordinate with the Closing Team, Investor Relations, Operations, Accounting, banks, and Trustees to manage daily cash held across entities.
Prepare required documents for capital calls, distributions, cash sweeps, borrowings, and paydowns.
Update liability activity in Wall Street Office.
Conduct analysis and daily management of credit facility borrowing bases, reconciling reports and ensuring compliance with policies and covenants.
Operationalize new strategic product launches (e.g., credit facilities, warehouses, CLOs, Fo1s, repos, swaps).
Utilize GTreasury for reporting, analytics, bank account management, and payment processing.
Assist with forecasting needs to recommend optimal cash utilization.
Serve as a backup analyst for cash management processes across Golub entities.
Manage compliance reporting for subscription revolving lines of credit, swaps, repos, and forwards.
Collaborate with third‑party accounting firms during fund audits to provide data and reconcile exceptions.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related major.
CPA, CTP, or audit experience desired.
2+ years of analytical work experience in financial services; experience with lenders and lines of credit is a plus.
Experience reviewing legal/credit documentation.
Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word; knowledge of Wall Street Office, SharePoint, and GTreasury is a plus.
Flexibility regarding responsibilities and working hours.
Ability to drive projects independently while working effectively in a team.
