Overview As part of EY’s Artificial Intelligence and Data team, you will apply cutting‑edge technology and techniques to create innovative solutions for our clients. You will work side‑by‑side with clients and EY teams to advise on and solve challenging problems. The role requires continuous learning, staying ahead of trends, and influencing new ways of working to position solutions in the most relevant and innovative manner. Key Responsibilities
Research, build, and implement scalable AI systems that learn and make predictions tailored to business requirements across cloud and on‑premises environments.
Enhance data pipelines and storage to ensure clean, accurate data optimized for XOps processes.
Monitor and evaluate learning processes to continuously improve high‑performance models.
Collaborate with data and analytics professionals to industrialize analysis into effective analytics solutions.
Lead workstream delivery and manage processes and projects effectively.
Continuously improve processes through research and analysis.
Manage professional employees and supervise teams, holding accountability for performance and results.
Engage actively with clients, participate in daily working sessions, and lead workstreams from planning through execution to closure.
Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.

Strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4‑year) required.
6–10 years of full‑time experience in AI, Data Science, and/or Machine Learning.
2–4 years of experience directly managing technical teams.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively across hybrid and global teams.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining high‑impact, high‑value production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
Proficiency with Generative AI models and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, DALL‑E, LangChain, RAG) and ML packages like scikit‑learn and PyTorch.
Experience with natural language processing and deep learning.
Extensive experience with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps), Agile methodologies (Jira), and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with MLOps and ML workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and evaluation.
Experience with model retraining and feedback loop methodologies.
Experience in model and solution monitoring and reporting.
Understanding of data structures, data modelling, and software engineering best practices.
Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and operations research; proficiency with SQL, Pandas, Spark.
Excellent communication skills for conveying findings and recommendations.
Skills in technical design optimization, relationship building, and commercial acumen.
Willingness to travel for client engagements.
Preferred (Optional)
Deep understanding of concepts, tools, and benefits of different AI approaches.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a quantitative field.
Experience teaching and mentoring team members.
Skills in languages beyond Python (R, JavaScript, Java, C++, C).
Experience fine‑tuning Generative AI models.
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Skills in data visualization and storytelling.
Experience with image, speech, or audio processing.
What We Offer You
Competitive compensation and benefits package. Base salary range (all US locations): $125,500–$230,200. New York City, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento): $150,700–$261,600. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
Hybrid work model: most external, client‑serving roles work together in person 40–60% of the time.
Flexible vacation policy and additional time off for EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence.
