Company Hey , we’re Haz and Wyatt, the founders of Pally, building at the intersection of AI and human relationships.
Pally is an AI unified messaging inbox and personal CRM that brings together all your chats. Using on-device AI, we help you prioritize, stay in touch, and reach inbox zero everywhere.
We believe personal AI must be private, on-device, and proactive. Our backend is minimal and only processes enrichment, keeping user data on-device.
We’re backed by Y Combinator, the cofounders of Hugging Face, Slack, and Ramp.
Role We’re hiring for a founding design engineer with deep experience in Swift, working on native macOS and iOS applications.
You’ll take full ownership of our front-end architecture, networking, and UI, ensuring a pixel‑perfect, design‑focused product.
As an early hire, you’ll also share overall ownership of the product, speak to users, and drive an extraordinary user experience.
Tech Stack Swift, SwiftUI, MVVM, SwiftData, on‑device models, and a small Go backend for enrichment.
Profile Qualifications:
Senior or Staff level Swift engineer with at least a few years of experience.
Product and design‑oriented, artistically driven.
Experience in a startup or founding team environment.
Demonstrated grit, track record of overcoming hard problems.
Belief that relationships are everything; artistic pride; “good enough” is not enough.
Practical Stuff Location: In‑person, San Francisco, starting ASAP. Expect 60-80 hours per week. Extend time for family and relationships as we value both.
Preferred: Lives in the early days at the “Pally House,” but not required if you can be on site ≥5 days a week.
