Senior Process Safety Management Lead – ioMosaic Corporation
Job Purpose
The ideal candidate must be experienced in all aspects of process safety and risk management and be able to work effectively with clients to implement their PSM programs. The role requires business development, strong client engagement, and expertise in the oil and gas, petrochemical, and/or pharmaceutical industries. The position is based in Houston, TX, and may require up to 50% travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Business development – identify new business opportunities and convert proposals.
Client relationship management – develop and monitor client and account strategies.
Project management – lead PSM projects from scoping to execution, including progress monitoring and reporting.
Leading professional expertise – advance team knowledge and maintain technical excellence.
Core Duties
Process hazard analysis, including HAZOP, fault tree analysis, layer of protection analysis.
Safety integrity level analysis.
Fixed facility and transportation quantitative risk assessment.
Process safety management auditing.
Incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Dust explosion hazard analysis.
Chemical reactivity hazard analysis.
Facility siting analysis.
Use of software for documenting PHAs, audits, consequence and risk analysis.
Training delivery.
Expert testimony.
Project management experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Managing Staff
Maintain and develop staffing levels to meet current and future work pipelines.
Assess skill levels and create development plans for direct reports.
Coach unit leaders on staff development, P&L, resource usage, and technical issues.
Leadership & Organizational Learning
Create a vision for the team, ioMosaic, and clients.
Motivate and inspire the team to exceed expectations.
Knowledge Management
Keep abreast of industry and functional trends and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ioMosaic products.
Ensure project documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.
Make industry, functional, key‑client, and project knowledge accessible to the project team.
Qualifications
B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline (required).
MBA preferred.
P.E. licensure desirable.
Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience.
Experience in process safety risk management, hazard analysis, and PSM auditing.
Proven business development and client relationship skills.
