We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 CE Field Service Solution Architect to design, lead, and deliver enterprise-scale solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and the Field Service module. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of Dynamics 365 CE Field Service solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and Microsoft best practices.
Requirements Gathering: Conduct discovery workshops to understand business processes and translate requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Technical Leadership: Guide development teams on design and implementation best practices, integration approaches, and data migration strategies.
Functional Expertise: Configure and extend Dynamics 365 CE, particularly within the Field Service module—covering work order management, resource scheduling, asset management, inventory, IoT integration, and mobile workforce enablement.
Integration & Data Strategy: Design integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems using Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party tools.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as a subject matter expert, presenting solution options, roadmaps, and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Quality & Governance: Ensure adherence to architectural standards, security practices, and delivery governance across projects.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current on Microsoft’s product roadmap and recommend enhancements or modernization initiatives to clients.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM, including 3+ years focused on Field Service implementations.
Proven background designing end-to-end Field Service solutions across multiple industries (manufacturing, utilities, healthcare, etc.).
Strong understanding of core Field Service components (resource scheduling optimization, connected field service, IoT, mobile, asset management, service agreements).
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 CE with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 F&O, Business Central, or legacy systems.
Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) and Azure integration tools.
Microsoft certifications such as Dynamics 365: Field Service Functional Consultant Associate or Solution Architect Expert strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Field Service Mobile (Resco or Power Apps–based).
Knowledge of Azure IoT Hub, Customer Insights, and Connected Field Service scenarios.
Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and DevOps processes.
Ability to mentor junior consultants and developers.
