Staff Nurse - Inpatient Behavioral Health
Completes an initial treatment plan including basic and special needs
Treats and cares for patients demonstrating understanding pf cognitive, emotional and chronological status
Anticipates and provides for discharge needs
Charts patient's progress in conjunction with the specific treatment plan
Utilizes available resource including family, referral source, prior treatment sources, and current multidisciplinary treatment team
Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for the therapeutic milieu
Validates the appropriateness of written orders
Implements physician and nursing orders as appropriate involving patient, family and significant others
Competent group facilitation and 1:1 interactions

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Bachelors Degree preferred

Successful completion of Hospital and Unit orientation programs
