About the Role Persona is seeking a junior attorney to provide support on commercial matters. As Associate Commercial Counsel, you’ll manage and negotiate commercial relationships, including vendor and sales contracts. Knowledge of privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR) is a plus. The role is located in our San Francisco office and requires office presence three times per week.
What you’ll do at Persona
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements involving the company’s products and services, including nondisclosure agreements and sales agreements.
Work directly with the sales team to complete sales negotiations swiftly while protecting the company.
Draft, update and maintain form agreements.
Provide advice to the Post‑Sales team regarding customer issues.
Offer general support as needed, including assisting with drafting internal policies and implementing related processes.
What you’ll bring to Persona
2 or more years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or similar environment
A J.D. and active membership in at least one state bar
Experience with commercial negotiation and drafting skills
Good judgment and an ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage projects effectively
