Pay Range:

$70,000 – $75,000 per year.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the Director of DD Services with day‑to‑day operations of DDA programs and all staff.

Provide oversight, coordination, and supervision of House Management, Residential Coordinators, Day Program Counselors, Behavioral 1:1 Assistants, CDS Program Manager.

Hire and train program staff, oversee special projects, licensure of residence, Person‑Centered Plan development, community outreach, and client retention.

Ensure compliance with CARF, COMAR, State and Federal regulations and support continuous quality improvement.

Assist in developing and managing operational and fiscal activities: staffing, budgets, financial goals.

Analyze and document business processes, develop solutions for efficiency, coordinate and implement departmental projects.

Conduct and manage trainings, conduct interviews, hire staff, manage references, evaluate, reward, discipline staff.

Schedule staff, manage work assignments/rotations, training, vacations, overtime, absences, shift rotations.

Process timesheets and payroll.

Be on call for staffing and clinical emergencies.

Respond to and resolve customer complaints, obtain funding from DDA for consumers.

Monitor and record incident reports, submit to compliance officer, document in monitoring system.

Assist Director and QA Manager in writing and submitting DDA incident reports within 24 hours.

Report and investigate incidents per DDA/MHA policies.

Notify CCO of incidents per company and state policies.

Assist in creating and implementing annual QA Report.

Audit clinical charts, provide feedback and training.

Oversee Electronic Medical Record, conduct regular audits.

Submit QA incident documentation monthly.

Attend mandatory meetings, assist in setup of new houses (licensure, furnishings).

Participate in required trainings and maintain regulatory knowledge.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field; OR associate’s degree.

Minimum one year of supervisory experience and/or training.

Minimum two years of experience providing support to adults with ID/DD and SPMI; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities Manages assigned departmental employees. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of services, conducting hiring, performance appraisal, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints.
