Role Overview The Business Unit Demand Planning Lead owns a 0–18‑month demand forecast for the International Business Unit portfolio (Premier Protein and Dymatize) and works cross‑functionally to provide accurate forecasts, analyze market trends, and support end‑to‑end planning. The role is a trusted partner to the Core Business Team, the International Business Unit General Manager, and the Operational Excellence team.

Responsibilities

Own monthly 0–18‑month horizon forecasts for the International Business Unit portfolio.

Craft forecast insights and narratives, identifying challenges and trade‑offs for business discussions.

Understand the entire demand call from customer detail to aggregate trends.

Represent demand at the 2×/week Command Center and weekly Core Business Team meetings.

Lead monthly Demand Preview and Review meetings with GM, Brand, Sales, Strategy, and Finance partners.

Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to incorporate promotion, distribution, media, and launch data.

Lead continuous improvement of forecasting models in o9, Forecast X, and support the Operational Excellence team.

Track key performance indicators, propose process adjustments, and share best practices with other Demand Leads.

Attend industry conferences, participate in company events, and contribute to team collaboration.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

3+ years experience in multiple supply chain disciplines with end‑to‑end interdependencies.

3+ years demand planning; 2+ years statistical forecasting.

Proficiency with forecasting tools such as o9, ForecastX, SAP IBP, JDA, or similar.

Skills

Influencing and storytelling through data visualization.

Data‑driven mindset and proactive performance monitoring.

Learning orientation, creativity, problem solving, and collaboration.

Ability to handle ambiguity and work independently within a matrixed organization.

Strong attention to detail and excellent time‑management.
