Description Lumina HealthCare has an exciting opportunity for a Full or Part-Time Dentist (1‑5 days/week) to work in Merced, CA. Qualified DDS or DMD candidates will round at multiple facilities within a designated territory. The role focuses on skilled nursing facilities, post‑acute rehab, nursing homes, PACE programs, assisted living and long‑term acute care hospitals.
Sign-On Bonus $3,000
Qualifications
DDS or DMD
State professional license
Valid state driver’s license
Duties
Weekday commitment: no call, evenings, or weekends
Deliver dentistry at the bedside in post‑acute care settings and chairside in adult day habilitation settings.
Round daily at multiple facilities.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine, preventative dental examinations
Perform routine extractions and fillings
Perform denture fabrication, relines, and repairs
Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
Build rapport with patients, families, facility staff and company staff
Provide excellent chairside communication to enhance the patient experience
