is seeking an accomplished Director of Property Operations to lead a high-performing engineering team and drive operations in a high-impact, big-box environment.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to safeguard the physical integrity of a premier convention hotel while guiding a talented engineering team to new levels of operational excellence.
The ideal leader brings strategic insight, technical expertise, and a passion for cultivating a culture of safety, service, and accountability. You’ll work closely with hotel leadership to drive success across building systems, sustainability initiatives, and guest-impacting priorities.
What will I be doing?
Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct facility inspections.
Assign, verify, and document completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system; direct, oversee, and maintain required documentation for energy management and conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
Lead, manage, and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitations, including scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with contractor bidding standards.
Direct daily department operations including guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, inventory management and cost controls, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, adherence to federal, state and local standards, and meeting participation and facilitation.
Monitor and develop team member performance to include supervision and professional development, counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and reward.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.
