Demonstrate building design expertise, expert‑level knowledge of materials, detailing, assemblies, code compliance, and building systems.

Manage consultant coordination (MEP, structural, civil, landscape) and ensure integration and quality control.

Conduct zoning analysis, DOB/UCC code reviews, building department research, DRC (Development Review Commission) submissions, and HPC packages.

Lead planning board, zoning board, and HPC presentations—including preparation of drawings, exhibits, and narratives.

Conduct site visits, field narrative reports, and documentation of existing conditions.

Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, punch lists, and close‑out.

Must have a knowledge and understanding of AIA documents.

Mentor junior staff and guide project teams in efficient design, drafting, and BIM workflows.

Coordinate project schedules, milestones, and deliverable deadlines in alignment with firm‑wide project management systems.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience in architecture.

Extensive experience with institutional, commercial, municipal, and/or mixed‑use projects.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative, office‑centered environment.
