The Network Architect will design and implement enterprise-grade network solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and security across large, distributed environments.

This role involves creating integrated systems, managing technical debt, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality network architecture aligned with organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Design and document network architectures, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

Write, test, and maintain technical work products (e.g., scripts, processes) according to established guidelines.

Conduct root cause analysis for systemic issues and lead execution of corrective actions.

Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges; implement mitigating strategies.

Partner with security teams to integrate security-conscious practices early in the lifecycle.

Evaluate technical risks and guide teams toward practical prevention strategies.

Collaborate across teams to break down silos and resolve complex problems.

Maintain strong relationships with engineering leaders and vendors to leverage synergies.

Produce comprehensive architecture documentation, design diagrams, and operational runbooks.

Mentor team members and ensure alignment with engineering strategy across product domains.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale network solutions in production environments.

Deep technical expertise in network infrastructure, including VoIP/IP telephony, global routing and switching architectures, and cloud integration.

Expert-level knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and anycast.

Strong understanding of SD-WAN, MPLS, VXLAN, and cloud networking.

Experience with SIP architecture integration and VoIP networking.

Proficiency in LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Palo Alto Firewalls).

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Skilled in producing architecture documentation and detailed design drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD practices for network automation.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks and large enterprise environments.
