Overview
Group Facilitator (MA/MSW) – FULL TIME (INCLUDES WEEKENDS) at Hartgrove Behavioral Health System. Hartgrove is a 160-bed psychiatric hospital, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., serving a diverse population of all ages with inpatient, partial, and outpatient services. Responsibilities
Responsible for quality psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic treatment of pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Facilitate regular group therapy sessions designed to meet patients’ needs, guide and direct patient participation, address group dynamics, and observe individual responses to discussion and content. Document group notes including content, observations, and progress toward treatment goals. Maintain open communication with the Director of Psychological Services, milieu management, and treatment teams to support quality service delivery and adherence to the daily programming schedule. Follow policies on release of information and confidentiality. Attend clinical supervision regularly. Qualifications
Education:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and/or licensed/certified in a clinically related field. Experience:
Prior experience facilitating groups. Prefer experience with psychiatric mental health populations, preferably in an inpatient setting. Licensure/Certification:
State license preferred. Knowledge:
Knowledge of group process, dynamics, safety precautions, and both process and psychoeducation group facilitation. Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy theory and interventions. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with hospital staff. Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills. Benefits
