Sr. Engineer- Network / Release Engineer

Senior Engineer – Networking - Release Engineering Burlington, MA – Hybrid – must be onsite 3 days per week.

We're looking for a senior-level engineer who lives at the intersection of networking, DevOps, and software delivery. You’ll design and support secure, high-performance networks that power production releases across cloud, government, and on‑prem environments.

The Role

Lead production software releases across cloud + restricted environments

Build and troubleshoot VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, load balancers

Own TLS/SSL, PKI, and certificate lifecycle management

Drive Kubernetes & Docker networking (ingress, egress, service mesh)

Automate everything with Terraform/Ansible + Python/Bash

Partner with product, QA, DevOps, and customers to ensure smooth deployments

Improve reliability, observability, and release quality

Experience

7+ years in software, release, or infrastructure engineering

Deep networking expertise across cloud and on-prem

Strong Kubernetes networking + container deployment experience

IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)

Strong scripting in Python and Bash

Customer-facing communication skills

A love for solving hard, multi-layered infrastructure issues

Preferred Skills

CKA certification

Service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd)

Hardware networking expertise

Experience with government or air‑gapped deployments
