Job Description
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral researcher position to conduct collaborative research. The role involves leading the project titled "Image-guided, intra-arterial delivery of antibodies to the central nervous system." The responsibilities include utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as intra-arterial injections in mice, radiolabeling and characterizing antibodies, PET and MRI imaging, post-mortem tissue assessment, data analysis, interpretation, and manuscript drafting. The candidate is also expected to assist with data management and must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Qualifications
A PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with a focus on biomedical data analysis, or related fields is required. Preferred experience includes developing novel data mining algorithms, magnetic resonance (MR) image analysis, Unix/Linux Shell programming, and familiarity with FSL, SPM, AFNI, C/C++ programming.
