PCG is seeking an experienced Operations L&D Specialist to join our team in Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of instructor‑led, virtual, and one‑on‑one training for our operations teams.
Work closely with operations to identify training and development needs and solutions.
Effectively deliver training to engage participants and motivate them to master and apply learning on the job.
Assess business situations and develop goals and training/development strategies to improve business results and performance.
Manage & maintain the current list of all applicable hourly employees by branch and role; partner with management to provide developmental opportunities and ensure training progression.
Partner with individuals and key leadership stakeholders to advise on execution of company policies and procedures.
Act as a liaison between corporate departments and branches to ensure consistency, validity, and efficiency of training materials and tools.
Assist in preparing for and delivering in‑person conferences at our corporate office.
Coach and mentor employees regarding personal or career development.
Provide insight on branch succession and leadership development conversations.
Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions.

Basic Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in training or development (preferred).
Experience working in a related craft line is a plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Willing to travel 50%+.
Effective communicator with strong verbal, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
Highly organized, with excellent time‑management, proofing and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills; proven ability to plan and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to speak in front of an audience and facilitate training workshops and conferences with high energy and approachability.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and consult with senior leaders, business partners, internal customers, and colleagues.
Experience delivering training and/or event communications a plus.
Comfortable with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using the Internet.
