Project Manager

Responsibilities
Lead customer‑facing projects that drive revenue and provide high customer satisfaction.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources and quality constraints using Agilysys Project Management Group standards.
Identify, manage, report and, when necessary, elevate program or project risks.
Prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects, resolving conflicts among schedule and resource constraints.
Coordinate with Managers of Installation Services to secure resources aligned with project target dates.
Collaborate with Sales to clarify ambiguous projects and resolve process issues.
Work closely with internal installation teams to complete project tasks and address business or technical challenges to meet project goals.
Directly engage customers to set appropriate expectations, determine target dates, manage customer tasks and deliver regular project updates.
Mentor customers on best practices for implementing Agilysys solutions and recommend additional solutions when applicable.
Provide thought leadership regarding team and organization challenges.
Collaborate with internal departments to identify installation improvements and provide product feedback.
Obtain and maintain all necessary training certifications for self‑development.
Ensure effective transition of completed projects to the Support organization.
Perform additional duties as assigned or specific to the project.
Requirements for Success
Experience developing, installing or supporting hospitality solutions (e.g., point of sale, property management, inventory management).
Customer‑facing presentation skills at the C‑level.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Hospitality Administration and Management, Hotel and Motel Management, or equivalent experience in Program/Project Management.
3–5 years of Program/Project Management and/or technical implementation project leadership.
Expertise in MS Project, NetSuite OpenAir, Confluence and MS Office products.
Project Management experience in an hourly billable capacity.
Superior relationship and communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to lead without authority and drive decision‑making.
Strong attention to detail, follow‑through and organizational skills for managing multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to persuade, inspire and motivate peers.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and flexibility in project situations.
Availability to travel up to 20% of the calendar year and possession (or ability to obtain) a valid passport for international travel.
Occasional work on weekends and evenings as required.
Willingness to complete all license applications, background checks, security checks and provide identification documents as required by any State, Federal or Tribal agency.
Other Desired Experience
PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute or equivalent certification.
International business experience.
Multilingual skills.
