Job Description

• Lead full project execution by understanding contract documents, schedules (including critical path), staffing plans, and cost estimates, while coordinating all project personnel.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction on means and methods, scheduling, systems, and general conditions during estimating and planning.
• Implement, manage, and enforce site Safety and Quality Assurance Programs to meet OSHA requirements, contract specifications, and industry standards.
• Maintain strong on-site relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners while overseeing workmanship and compliance.
• Manage project documentation and reporting, including daily reports, current drawings, procurement logs, schedules, and coordination meetings.
• Oversee trade partners through efficient planning, scheduling, and Lean and CPM techniques, developing recovery strategies to maintain project timelines.
• Lead project turnover and close-out processes, including punch-list management and field pre-punch planning to reduce rework and ensure timely completion.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of Site Superintendent experience within the education space
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field
• OSHA 30 certificate or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with education projects
• Experience with scheduling
• Proficient in MS Office Platforms and Procore
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to influence, negotiate and drive project schedules
• Knowledge of all elements of commercial construction and understanding of skilled trades.
