Position Summary
The Department of Marketing at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions.

https://www.msudenver.edu/marketing/ MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. Located in downtown Denver, we are a designated Hispanic Serving Institution, an INSIGHT into Diversity Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award winner for 10 consecutive years, and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado. As the third largest institution of higher education in Colorado and the only one with an open access mission, MSU Denver serves a highly diverse undergraduate population, including the most first-generation and DACA students in the state. Responsibilities Teach 3-9 credit hours. Courses are primarily Principles of Marketing, but may include International Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and other marketing courses. Most classes are on campus. Limited online teaching may be required for MBA courses. Participate in program assessment activities, as assigned. Be available for student consultations. Work with diverse students, faculty, and staff. Affiliate faculty duties include teaching classes, preparing course materials, grading, providing feedback, addressing student questions, maintaining office hours, and adhering to university policies on instruction and evaluation. Required Qualifications Master's degree in the relevant field. Substantial current professional experience (normally at least 10 years) relevant to the teaching field, with increasing responsibility and supervisory roles. For graduate teaching, typically 20+ years of professional experience with senior responsibilities. If the Master's is outside the teaching field, significant professional experience in the discipline is required. Maintain professional qualifications as per College of Business policy ( Policy Link ). Preferred Qualifications Evidence of quality teaching in higher education. Terms of Employment Part-time, per credit hour, on a semester basis. No benefits. Must be able to teach on campus upon hire. Salary Based on credit hours assigned, according to university policy.
