Project Controls Engineer
candidates for a U.S. Embassy design/build project in Doha, Qatar. An
active U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance

The Project Controls Engineer (PCE) is responsible for scheduling and cost control from LNTP-Design to Final Acceptance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain project schedules and related documents in compliance with client provisions and project directives. Be part of the Contractor’s key management personnel; final approval by USG based on CV. Coordinate with Project Manager, Superintendent, Designer, subcontractors, suppliers, and OBO’s scheduling support. Refine and finalize project schedules with OBO PCE scheduler. Coordinate procurement activities with the schedule. Track overall project costs including labor, materials, and equipment. Support REAs and claims with third-party TIA/Controls experts. Perform other duties as directed by project leadership. Qualifications
Authorized to work in the U.S. Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Experience with Primavera scheduling software on at least two comparable projects. Proficient in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Prolog Manager. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. 5-7 years of related experience. Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks. Preferred Experience
International construction experience with diverse cultures. U.S. Government construction project experience. Experience with OBO or design/build projects. Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work involves overseas construction sites, often in high-stress environments, requiring physical agility, mobility, and safety awareness. Must be able to work 60 hours/week, in various weather conditions, with exposure to construction hazards. Note: This description summarizes essential duties; other responsibilities may apply.
