$115,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr IT Systems Security Administrator Overview Were seeking an
IT Systems Security Administrator
who will play a key role in our cybersecurity operations while also contributing across a broad range of IT functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to stay hands-on with cyber tools and practicesbut also enjoys supporting general IT operations, including desktop support, networking, cloud services, and hyperconverged infrastructure. Youll be part of a small, collaborative IT team where versatility and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and tools Assist with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and incident response Monitor network activity and help safeguard against security threats Configure and support security tools such as firewalls and antivirus solutions Support patch management and system updates Collaborating on disaster recovery and business continuity planning Provide hands-on support for desktops, infrastructure, and cloud technologies Participating in cross-functional IT efforts as needed Qualifications 3+ years of IT experience with meaningful involvement in cybersecurity Familiarity with firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools Experience supporting desktop systems, networks, and virtualized environments Exposure to cloud services and hyperconverged infrastructure a plus Strong communication and troubleshooting skills Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are helpful What You Bring A collaborative, can-do mindset with broad IT knowledge Passion for cybersecurity and willingness to stay current with best practices Ability to adapt and contribute in a generalist IT environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Seniority level
