Quality Assurance Analyst
to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Information Technology (IT), Enterprise Operations, IRS Web Infrastructure Services, and M365 Program Management Branch. This is a remote position.

So, what will the Quality Assurance Analyst at Terrestris do?
The Quality Assurance Analyst will support the IRS M365 Cloud Program Management Office by validating the quality, completeness, and compliance of all PMO deliverables, risk assessments, and control documentation. This role ensures alignment with federal mandates, IRS security and governance standards, and program traceability requirements within the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. The selected candidate will drive continuous process improvement, maintain rigorous documentation quality, and collaborate regularly with engineering teams, cybersecurity, and IRS program stakeholders.
What does a typical day look like for the Quality Assurance Analyst?
You will:
Oversee and contribute to the quality of all project plans, schedules, and documentation.
Review and provide input for all bi-weekly status reports, including deliverables, risks, and mitigations.
Review and provide input for monthly consolidated health reports for the M365 team.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes for M365 services and project deliverables.
Monitor compliance with project requirements, federal standards, and IRS-specific guidelines.
Prepare, maintain, and update quality documentation, reports, and dashboards.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
Support audits, reviews, and internal/external assessments related to M365 deliverables.
Collaborate with IRS SMEs and project teams to ensure deliverables meet compliance, traceability, and quality standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance practices across the organization.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:
Authorization to work in the United Statespermanently without sponsorship.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, compliance, or related roles, preferably in large corporate or federal government environments.
Experience supporting federal government clients or high-compliance environments; IRS experience is a plus.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 development, SharePoint administration, and cloud-based service deliverables.
Strong experience with PMO documentation, including PMP, RACI, and IMS, as well as quality reviews and reporting; must support Section 508 compliance.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to multiple audiences.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships across business units and technical teams.
We are extra impressed by folks with:
Prior experience supporting IRS systems, modernization initiatives, or federal compliance programs.
Knowledge of quality frameworks, audit processes, and federal standards such as NIST or FISMA.
Experience with documentation tools, quality tracking systems, and reporting dashboards.
Strong ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements in a structured, compliance-focused environment.
