Job Details
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision aerospace components Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Perform routine machine maintenance and resolve basic mechanical issues Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) Adjust tooling and machine settings to maintain accuracy and efficiency Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address machining challenges
Qualifications:
3+ years of machining experience in a high-precision environment Aerospace or defense industry experience strongly preferred Skilled in CNC operation, setup, and G-code interpretation Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
