Territory Sales Manager, NGS Clinical Solutions - New England Remote
Location: Boston, MA (Fully Remote)
Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), part of Danaher, is a leader in genomics and life‑science solutions. This role is part of the NGS Solutions Sales Team and will be based in Boston while working fully remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Researches and understands territory dynamics, focusing on prospecting and growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy. Analyzes the competitive landscape and evaluates competitors’ products to position IDT solutions for successful sales.
Develops and manages assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth, creating and nurturing strategic partnerships with key customers and leveraging internal resources to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Maintains regular communications with customers and prospective customers, scheduling sales calls and travel itineraries to address customer needs and execute sales strategies. Documents detailed notes in current CRM tools and provides customers with current product sales information through technical presentations.
Builds in‑depth knowledge of CRM and funnel‑management tools, applying these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipelines, and make data‑driven business decisions. Maintains records and communications with the customer base using current CRM tools.
Maintains regular and informative communications with team members, including cross‑functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and other stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.) or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales and/or field‑based customer support, preferably in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or key performance indicators.
Resides in Massachusetts; Boston is preferred.
Familiarity with academic, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), corporate, and government accounts in the region.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000. Eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
