This position is part of the NGS Solutions Sales Team, based in Boston and will be fully remote. At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In This Role

Research and understand territory dynamics, focusing on prospecting and growth opportunities to develop an effective business plan and sales strategy, understanding competitive landscape, and evaluating competitors’ products to effectively position IDT solutions for a successful sale.

Develop and manage assigned accounts to deliver solutions and drive revenue growth, and develop and manage strategic partnerships with key customers, leveraging internal resources when necessary to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Maintain regular communications with customers and prospective customers, including scheduling sales calls and travel itinerary to address customer needs and execute sales strategies through timely follow‑up, with detailed notes captured within current CRM tools, educating and providing customers with current product sales information through technical presentations.

Build in‑depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and apply these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions. Maintain records and communications with customer base with current CRM tools.

Maintain regular and informative communications with team members, including cross‑functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and others.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.) or a relevant field.

At least 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales and/or field‑based customer support, preferably in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or key performance indicators.

Reside in Massachusetts; Boston is preferred.

Familiarity with existing academic, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), corporate, and government accounts in the region.

The base salary range for this role is $140,000–$165,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
