Senior Workday Security Administrator – SoFi
Base pay range $86,400.00/yr - $162,000.00/yr
The Role:
The SoFi Enterprise IT team is seeking an experienced Workday Security & Reporting Administrator to drive the strategy, development, and security of our HR and Finance data systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring Workday is utilized effectively as a centralized data source, with a commitment to data governance, privacy, and security. The position involves collaboration across People, Finance, and Payroll teams and has a direct impact on the employee experience.
Responsibilities
Access Provisioning and Deprovisioning: Execute daily processes for granting, modifying, and revoking user access in Workday per established access control policies and service level agreements.
Security Configuration Administration: Design, configure, and actively administer security roles, groups, and data access policies, maintaining group memberships.
Request and Issue Resolution: Serve as primary point of contact for resolving security-related operational requests and incidents, including reporting access problems.
Security Analysis: Use Workday’s security audit tools to diagnose and troubleshoot unauthorized access or missing permissions.
End-to-End Secure Reporting: Lead the lifecycle of custom report and dashboard solutions—requirements gathering, development, testing, documentation, deployment—ensuring least‑privilege and security are built in.
Qualifications
4+ years experience with Workday.
Advanced knowledge of Workday security and experience configuring domain, user, and role‑based security and data access policies.
Proficiency in analyzing and documenting complex business requirements and translating them into Workday security configurations.
Demonstrated expertise in Workday Report Writer and Reporting/Analytics modules.
Comfortable with changing requirements and priorities based on business needs.
Nice to Have
Workday Security Pro Certification.
Workday Integration and Studio Experience.
SOX Audit & Compliance Experience.
