As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will: Architect, build, and refine infrastructure and tools for other teams to work with data. Efficiently handle large volumes of clickstream, database, and third?party application data, processing in batch and real time. Take ownership of solutions from requirements through deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with teammates and share knowledge in a team?oriented culture.
Qualifications
7+ years of software engineering experience. Experience building cloud solutions; AWS preferred (Redshift, MSK, EMR). Experience with OLAP databases such as ClickHouse. Experience building data pipelines at scale; Airflow and Python preferred. Experience with streaming systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, or similar. Ability to translate vague requirements into clear deliverables with minimal guidance. Experience maintaining a modern data stack in production.
Compensation
Targeted annual salary ranges are $163,000$204,000 in Denver, $178,000$223,000 in Los?Angeles, and $197,000$247,000 in San?Francisco, New?York, and Seattle. Final offers depend on factors such as experience and skill set. Benefits & Working Arrangements
Physical offices in Denver, San?Francisco, and New York City; employees may be expected to work from the office 2?3 days per week (or more depending on role).
