Lead Data Engineer

role at

Estrada Consulting, Inc ECI is currently seeking a Senior Lead Data Engineer / Snowflake.

Candidates are preferred to live and work in the Sacramento, CA area.

Remote work.

Duration:

12-months with optional extension.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and provide a PDF copy along with three (3) Client Signed Reference Forms - provided by the client.

Candidates Must Have All The Following Minimum Mandatory Qualifications

10+ years in IT, which will include at least 4 years of the following: Relevant experience in authoring and monitoring data pipelines. Skills with Snowflake, ETL/ELT (dbt, AWS file systems, SES/SNS, Lambda (Boto 3), Python. Expertise with micro-batch data processing, near real-time ingestion. Expertise in data modeling (Data Vault 2, Star Schema). Orchestrating data enrichment specifically geocoding of addresses to latitude and longitude as part of the ELT process. Expertise with modern data pipeline architecture using DBT, Snowflake on a cloud platform, preferably in AWS. Expertise with DBT / Snowflake Incremental Refreshes and materializations, and snowflake cost optimizations on large volumes of data received hourly. Expertise in handling PII and other types of privileged data. In-depth experience and knowledge of data quality management.
