Role Summary As a key contributor to the development and operations of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), you will partner with leading industry partners—Intuitive Machines, Axiom Space, Lockheed Martin, and others—to design and build the next‑generation lunar surface mobility system that will enable Artemis astronauts and commercial partners to explore the lunar surface.
Responsibilities
Apply engineering principles to requirements validation, product development, integration, verification, and system validation.
Perform concept trade studies, requirements management, test & verification, and modelling and analysis as required.
Create and evaluate designs that meet customer satisfaction and engineering principles.
Establish and lead relationships with customer counterparts, requirement owners, and commercial teammates to promote mission success.
Support engineering activities such as requirements identification, development, verification, and tracking.
Develop processes and strategies to support cross‑functional teams in spacecraft engineering or operations.
Provide technical systems knowledge during major project milestones and project reviews.
Perform all other assigned duties.
Position is posted at multiple levels; candidates will be considered at any advertised level based on experience and business needs.
Required Education and Experience
BS degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school and 2 years of related engineering experience.
BS degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school and 5 years of related engineering experience.
BS degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school and 10 years of related engineering experience.
MS Degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering school may substitute for 2 years of appropriate work experience.
Engineering or operations experience on space systems.
Experience working on cross‑discipline engineering teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders.
Applied knowledge of engineering practices associated with definition, design, development, verification, implementation, testing, integration, and validation of complex systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
Preferred Education and Experience
Working experience with Human Space Exploration programs.
INCOSE certification.
Experience with requirement development, decomposition, documentation, and review.
Project management or other leadership experience.
Experience developing technical documentation.
Experience with product lifecycle management software (JIRA or similar).
Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, MagicDraw, JAMA, or similar.
Master of Science degree in Engineering.
Essential Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Post‑offer applicants and employees are subject to drug testing per the company’s drug‑free workplace policy.
Work may involve sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 25 lb.
Must have sufficient mobility to enter facilities as required.
Work will primarily occur in an office environment but may involve inside or outside sites depending on tasks.

Regular attendance per the established work schedule is critical.
Flexibility to work outside normal hours and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
