Base Pay Range $125,000.00/yr – $155,000.00/yr

Location : Ann Arbor, MI Type : Hybrid Travel : Occasional travel, based on business needs
Position Summary This position will serve as a technical lead, participate in design sessions, perform code reviews, and assist in investigating customer complaints. This role will help manage software projects and ensure that all activities are completed according to the project plan and HistoSonics’ quality system.
Key Responsibilities
Work with a cross‑functional team on identifying requirements, risks and effective risk mitigation measures
Work with other senior software team members on identifying optimal architectural and design solutions
Serve as Scrum Master as needed
Provide technical leadership for projects
Lead EHR future integration effort (FHIR, HL7)
Support and enhance DICOM solution (query/retrieve, push, and receive)
Contribute to product globalization initiatives to ensure solutions meet the needs of diverse markets and users worldwide
Own and sign off on software project deliverables for accurate design history files
Participate as a SME in audits
Assist in investigating customer complaints
Ensure all applicable tasks are performed in compliance with the Quality Management System
Participate in continuous improvement of the Quality System and software development procedures
Other duties as assigned by Software Manager
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in software development for medical devices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or related field, or Associates degree and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience
Software development experience with C/C++/C#
Experience with different operating systems with emphasis on Microsoft Windows
Experience with source‑code control systems
Experience with applicable FDA regulations and ISO standards
Provide guidance to less senior engineers
Constructively challenge assumptions
Properly prioritize multiple tasks/projects
