Your role Your Work Will Include, But Not Be Limited To:

Working with balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flows for families. Generally, personal balance sheets or investment partnerships and trusts, as opposed to operating companies.

Performing the following accounting functions:

Journal entries

General ledger review

Balance sheet reconciliation

Monthly/quarterly accrual entries

Reading, booking, and understanding an investment statement

Calculating and booking equity investments

Conducting basic trend analysis of financial statements

Experience with trusts and personal entity structures.

The Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.

3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting knowledge, including general ledger/chart of account expense coding.

Ability to assign proper general ledger code to transactions.

Understanding of balance sheet vs. income statement accounts and ability to record activity appropriately.

Month end close including balance sheet reconciliation and financial statement preparation.

Experience with trusts and personal entity structures.

Ability to work with various software: bill.com, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including formulas and tables.

Clear and professional communication with clients and internal team members.

Ability to self‑review for quality work product.

Compensation Compensation information is based on the location of the role in CO, IL, or MA. The range for this role in those states is $74,500.00–$111,500.00.
